Welcome to the home of arena polo excitement!

The Ascona Polo Cup is a premiere polo event that will take place 15-17 of July. For 2011 we have even more action, fun and style in store for our club members and guests.

Our inaugural 2010 Polo Cup was a huge success and this year will be even bigger. This year’s tournament will feature six teams with top professional players from around the world riding spirited ponies in the Ascona Polo arena.

Ascona Cup weekend will be the event everyone is talking about; great parties, interesting people, fabulous sponsors and, of course, the polo team parade along the beautiful lake front of Ascona.

Like Gladiators on horseback, Arena Polo is played at a fast pace with lots of action and very close contact. The excitement in the arena is right in front of the spectators so everyone can get in on the game. In the Ascona Polo arena, it is as if every seat is on the front row.
